So, you want to earn money online?
I did too.
And like most people, I had no clue where to start. But I kept hearing about Google AdSense — a way to earn by simply showing ads on your website or blog.
It sounded too good to be true.
But here’s the thing: It works — if you do it right.
This is how I earned my first income with AdSense — real talk, no BS, no fake screenshots.
🌱 Step 1: I Started With What I Loved Talking About
I didn’t research “high CPC niches” or try to copy big blogs. I just asked myself:
“What could I write about for weeks without getting bored?”
For me, it was tech stuff — simple Android tips, apps that save time, and cool tricks.
That was the first win. Writing didn’t feel like work. And when you’re starting out, that’s important. No one reads soulless content.
🖥 Step 2: I Made a Simple Blog
No coding. No fancy tools.
I went straight to Blogger.com (because it’s free and owned by Google).
In one evening, I had a blog live. Here's what I added:
A clean theme
An "About Me" page
A "Contact" page
A basic logo I made on Canva
5–10 posts that actually help people
I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. I just wanted it to look real and useful.
✍️ Step 3: I Wrote for People, Not for Google
This is the most important part. I did not use AI. I did not keyword-stuff.
I simply wrote like I was explaining to a friend. Like:
"Apps That Pay You for Walking"
"How I Got ₹50 Free Using This Recharge Trick"
"This Setting Doubled My Battery Life"
I made it concise, truthful, and to the point. Readers appreciated it. Google appreciated it.
???? Step 4: I Applied for AdSense
After I had a decent number of posts (around 10), I applied for AdSense.
Before that, I ticked off this list:
✅ Original content (no copy-paste)
✅ Helpful blog structure (no broken junk)
✅ Pages: About, Contact, Privacy Policy
✅ Content that assists actual people
And surprise, surprise. I got approved in 4 days. No email pleading. No waiting for months.
???? Step 5: My First Earning (The Moment That Changed Everything)
I'll never forget it.
One day, I logged into my AdSense account and there it was:
₹3.72 — from one arbitrary ad click.
It wasn’t much. But to me, it was HUGE.
That was proof. Proof that I could actually earn from my own blog.
It was addicting in the best way.
🚀 What I Learned (So You Don’t Waste Time)
Don’t wait to be perfect. Start with what you have.
Write content that solves real problems.
Make your blog simple and clear.
Don’t copy content — Google knows.
Keep going. The first rupee is the hardest. The rest get easier.
Final Thoughts: Start Now. Seriously.
If you’ve been thinking about starting with AdSense, this is your sign.
You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need thousands of followers. You just need:
A blog
Your own words
Some consistency
If I can do it, scrolling YouTube at midnight and writing from my phone… so can you.
Start today. One blog post at a time.
Your first income is waiting.
